Playful Yoga Pose Cards

Yoga cards are engaging for anyone to use. You can choose individual cards or put them together to create a story of your own. Empowering each individual to be their own teacher as well as exploring what feels best in his or her own body. These child friendly cards have actual images of kids which may feel meaningful and relevant to their interest and usage.

A few ideas on ways to use them~
*Choose a variety of cards. Create your own story, your own sequence, what's great is there is no wrong way to do yoga.
*Choose a card, do that pose, ask others to guess what you are doing like charades.
*Choose a card, do that pose, say it's name and then together come up with other names that pose could be.
ex:child pose can also be seed, mouse, bug, seed, etc
*Choose a card, do that pose, say something you feel when doing that pose.
ex: warrior "I am strong", butterfly "I am open", tree pose "I am calm"
* With 2 decks ~ select # of matches you would like, place those cards face down, take turns choosing cards and finding matches. Memory, concentration and focus are at play here.

Missy Brown E-RYT 500, E-RCYT, YACEP is a dedicated seasoned yoga and wellness practitioner with over 40 years of personal practice and 25 years of joyful service and playful teaching.
